What We Retain for Other Users:
- Trips you shared with others will remain available to those users, but your contributions (photos, shared notes, planned meals) will be removed
- Messages you sent in conversations will remain visible to other participants
What We Retain for Legal Compliance:
- Your email address and consent timestamp will be retained separately in our compliance records for 6 years to meet our legal obligations. After 6 years, this data is automatically deleted.
When Deletion Occurs
Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours of your deletion request being confirmed. You will receive an email notification when the deletion is complete.
Your Rights and Choices
Access and Portability
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can do this directly from your account settings using the "Download My Data" feature.
